In America to be queer is to witness the limitless evil of religion.

Science has never devised a treatment to cure people of religious delusions that could possibly match the effectiveness of coming to terms with one's own homosexuality.

As a young man or woman begins to realize that they are different they become keenly aware of the pious, righteous bigotry that is the evil core of modern Christianity. I can not imagine a more agonizing experience than to learn that everyone hates you just as you are coming of age and realizing your own identity.

Once you accept the fact that you are queer the blinders are off, you are not only a witness to the gut level hostility and intolerance of Fundamentalism, you are the primary target of their vicious, fairy-tale laced diatribes and ballot measures.

We've decided to say "Fuck you, I'm queer, and if you have a problem with that then you have a problem."

Here is some reading material on the subject of queer activism. Queers bash back!
