For every young person the process of coming of age, that is understanding who and what we are, is a time of great turmoil and highly emotional experiences.
For gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered teens the process is often fraught with danger and strife.
Despite these factors there are often life experiences that make for great movies, whether fiction or based on fact. Having once been a gay teen we have a personal fascination for the genre of gay coming of age movies. Here are some that we hope you might enjoy.
