Atheist Fag Introduces New Website: War Crimes Trials

The Atheist Fag, founder of this blog and author of this post, has created a new website devoted specifically to issues surrounding demand for and likelihood of war crimes trials being conducted for the criminals in the Bush Administration.

The site is laid out like a printed newspaper, with headlines, articles on pages, and teasers in the columns.

Breaking away from the newspaper analogy there are also a number of pages containing filtered YouTube video selections based on subjects related to torture and the US concentration camp in Guantanamo Cuba.

Each of the most famous war criminals in the Bush Administration has their own category for news stories, you’ll find all of your favorite malicious evildoers like George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Condoleeza Rice.

Articles shown on the site are updated by an automated process every two hours, so you’ll be able to track the progress of justice if and when any of these criminals are held responsible for their crimes.

Church and State, Greed and Hate

A majority of US citizens, including an increasing number of Republicans and conservatives, have expressed their desire to keep religion out of politics. If ever a survey brought music to our ears, this is the musical one.

Perhaps it is the 8 year reign of our compulsive liar war criminal Glorious Christian Leader that has opened the eyes of the American people. Perhaps they are tired of hypocritical Fundamentalists spreading hatred and division as if it were holiness and justice.

Maybe the good citizens of this nation remember how gung ho all of the Christian leaders were for our war of imperialist aggression based on a pack of lies about Iraq.

Certainly whenever a government is considering doing something evil, like endorsing slavery, promoting bigotry, or legislating homophobia; religion is right there cheering on the hatred.

In a 63-page report out today the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life found that 50 percent of conservatives now believe that churches and other houses of worship should stay out of politics. Four years ago, only 30 percent agreed. Across the entire political spectrum, 52 percent of voters said churches should keep out of politics. Forty-five percent said they should express their views.

Whatever the hard earned lessons that are turning back the tide of Jeebus-brand theocracy in America, we cheer this happy trend on. Congratulations to our fellow Americans, let’s hear it for separation of church and state. The people in Iran should be so lucky.

Innocent Photographer Released from US Concentration Camp

For some time the US government, acting on the orders of Our Glorious Christian Leader, has been operating a concentration camp in Cuba. We call the US detention center a concentration camp because it is consistent with the definition of the term.

a camp where non-combatants of a district are accommodated, such as those instituted by Lord Kitchener during the South African war of 1899-1902; one for the internment of political prisoners, foreign nationals, etc., esp. as organized by the Nazi regime in Germany before and during the war of 1939-45.

Today an innocent man arrested without due cause was released. Sami al-Hajj had been held prisoner by US forces for 6 years without ever being charged with any crime. Before he was illegally detained by imperialist invaders he was working as a photographer for Al Jazeera.

During the first year he was held in the US concentration camp without being charged with any crime. He had no rights according to Our Glorious Christian Leader.

During the second year he was held in the US concentration camp without being charged with any crime. He had no rights according to Darth Cheney.

During the third year he was held in the US concentration camp without being charged with any crime. He had no rights according to Donald “Death Star” Rumsfeld.

During the fourth year he was held in the US concentration camp without being charged with any crime. He had no rights according to Co-Conspirator Rice.

During the fifth year he was held in the US concentration camp without being charged with any crime. He had no rights according to Alberto “Torture Time” Gonzales.

During the sixth year he was released from the US concentration camp without being charged with any crime. Nobody has apologized for holding him prisoner for 6 years with no charges.

We do not know how often he was tortured, but we do know who authorized the torture.

Since he was never charged with any crime at all, not even littering, what shall we presume about his guilt or innocence? Is there any presumption to be made about a person’s guilt or innocence? How about if a person has not only never been convicted of a crime, suppose they have never even been charged with a crime – are they still guilty?

Our Glorious Christian Leader Not Subject to Human Laws

Official US Government policy approving of the use of torture justifies the immoral, illegal, brutal, inhumane, demeaning, fascist behavior of Our Glorious Christian Leader by pretending that Our Glorious Christian Leader is not subject to laws made by mere international treaties signed by the USA. The Pentagon is covering their ass.

The memo was written by John Yoo, who was then deputy assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel under Alberto “Torture Time” Gonzales, a primary enabler of faith-based torture initiatives.

While the so-called legal opinion does not actually say that Our Glorious Christian Leader answers directly to God, it has been widely reported that God told Our Glorious Christian Leader to engage in an illegal conspiracy to promote a war of aggression based on a pack of lies.

Of course since Jesus H. Christ told Our Glorious Christian Leader that he should invade Iraq this means he was delegating authority, and with authority directly from his Imaginary Bearded Sky Daddy, it seems obvious that Our Glorious Christian Leader should not be subject to the laws of mere mortals. Praise Him!

Veteran Testifies About Torture at US Concentration Camp

A former guard at the US Concentration Camp in Guantanamo Bay has testified about the illegal, immoral, unethical, disgraceful, shameful treatment of prisoners – as authorized by Our Glorious Christian Leader. Christopher Arent was 17 when he joined the National Guard.

He became very quickly discouraged when he saw the immoral deeds ordered by the first war criminal President in US history.

“Inside the interrogation room, it would be 10 to 20 degrees [F.] with loud music playing. And there would be the detainee shackled to the floor by his hands and feet with nothing to sit on, with loud music playing in the freezing cold.”

This is evil. Pure evil. Raw evil. The kind of evil that only a person as low as Darth Cheney would enjoy. And George W. Criminal likes to tell us what a great fucking Christian he is, how he prays to Jeebus, and how Jeebus tells him to invade perfectly innocent nations based on a pack of lies.

Another veteran of the US torture apparatus, former sergeant Domingo Rosas, says that he was assigned to torture prisoners by preventing them from sitting down, laying down, getting any sleep. He witnessed other US soldiers using other torture techniques approved by Our Glorious Christian Leader, the official spokesperson for American Christianity to the rest of the world.

“I witnessed one detainee rolling around in the mud being kicked again and again,” he said. “I saw the interrogator pouring water on his face, waterboarding him. And another detainee was standing there with a bag over his head and was forced to carry a huge rock until he couldn’t do it anymore and collapsed. That image seared itself into my mind’s eye and I can’t forget it. I won’t forget it.”

These are the actions authorized by Our Glorious Christian Leader, on the advice of Donald “Death Star” Rumsfeld, with cheerleading provided by Darth Cheney, and publicity handled by by Co-Conspirator Rice and Once Respectable Powell, press releases by Rupert Murdoch. Our Glorious Christian Leader Vetoes Anti-Torture Bill

In the fine tradition of compassionate conservatives that fundamentally follow Jeebus, Our Glorious Christian Leader has vetoed a bill that would have outlawed torture. Which bills would Jeebus veto? Would Jeebus be disappointed if torture was illegal? Or does Jeebus only hate torture if the person doing the torture is a foreigner?

We all agree that it is morally wrong for our enemies to torture their prisoners. The US Government has often criticized the practice of torture as conducted by small dictatorships. Among the many reasons often used as a la carte rationalizations of the illegal invasion of Iraq is the fact that Saddam Hussein was torturing his own citizens. Any civilized nation would naturally reserve torture for foreigners.

Maybe Our Glorious Christian Leader would be willing to sign a bill that outlaws torturing just Americans, but not foreigners. Of course, on the other hand, maybe he would veto such a bill too.

Usually when Our Glorious Christian Leader vetoes a bill that would outlaw torture he says stuff like “We don’t torture” which is probably just as true as everything else that he says on the subject. Still, I’m not sure if he used that line this time. I’m still waiting to hear him say “We don’t torture, that’s why we vetoed this bill. Because it would outlaw torture. We don’t torture, but this bill would interfere with our ability to collect information.”

Our President who frequently says we don’t torture did say

“The bill Congress sent me would take away one of the most valuable tools in the war on terror”

Only the Party of Jesus is ready to defend your right to be tortured, and they’ll torture you if they have to in order to Protect Freedom™!

Maybe we need a faith-based torture program, we could ask people how much they love Jeebus now as we increase their height, or give them swimming lessons while they are laying on their backs. We could call the new faith-based torture program some snappy name, like the Spanish Questioning or the Spanish Enhanced Interrogation Technique. I hear they have lots of faith-based interview technique training manuals in Rome at that little nation state with the guys in dresses.

We could have a new federal agency that handles “interviews”, the BEI (Bureau of Enhanced Interrogations). Why it’s a whole new industry.

Federal Budget For Killing, Not Medical Care for Children

Our Glorious Christian Leader has bolstered his image as a War President by using his veto power to defeat a bill passed by Congress that would have extended a medical care program (SCHIP) for children. It is better to drop bombs on foreign children than provide medical care for our own children, or so it would seem.

No doubt Our Glorious Christian Leader was inspired by a famous quote from his Imaginary Bearded Sky Daddy, or Imaginary Son of Imaginary Sky Daddy to be more precise, “Suffer the little cluster bombs to come unto me, for theirs is the Kingdom of Republican war profits”. I think that is how it goes. Compassionate conservative my ass.

Besides, these damn poor kids are too young to be sent overseas time and time again, and then treated like dirt when they come home wounded. By the time they are old enough to be used as cannon fodder, Our Glorious Christian Leader will be back home in Crawford counting his war profit dollars.

Our Glorious Christian Leader is willing to spend ten billion dollars a month to protect exclusive oil rights for the billionaire that is building his Presidential Library, but medical care for our own children is just too big of a burden, since it does not help his war profiteering Fundamentalist Christian cronies. How could anything be more disgusting than Our Glorious Christian Leader?

Our Glorious Christian Leader Visits Conquered Land

Our Glorious Christian Leader has bravely visited a very, very heavily armed military base in the conquered colonial nation of Iraq. In a stunning display of his world famous intellectual skills, Our Leader announced that he had conceived of the idea that it might be possible to consider bringing home a few of the troops he sent to invade a nearly unarmed country based on a pack of lies.

Jesus’ favorite warmonger also was filled with glee at the over 3% reduction in violence that was achieved by a statistician using various samples and time frames until eventually he came up with a Powerpoint slide that seemed to indicate a slight reduction in terr’ism when viewed in the narrow context that pleased Our Glorious Christian Leader.

It should be noted that only 4 years have passed since Our Glorious Christian Leader gleefully announced Mission Accomplished, in his butch jet fighter outfit, as a result of our successful destruction of the infrastructure in Iraq.

Of course, the real reason we invaded Iraq is whatever dumbass soundbite is currently getting the best reaction at American Legion posts across the country. Recently our reason to invade Iraq was to stop the sectarian violence that coincidentally did not start until we completely fucked over the entire nation that had brazenly done nothing at all to harm the USA with the completely fabricated WMDs they never had in the first place and we damn well fucking knew it because they were invented as an excuse by Our Glorious Christian Leader and his war crimes co-conspirators to funnel billions of dollars to the “Defense” Industry. Who gives a shit about the hundreds of thousands of bodies?

Vietraq Like Vietnam, Says Our Glorious Christian Leader

Our Glorious Christian Leader has finally admitted that our illegal imperialist invasion of Iraq based on a pack of lies is similar to our illegal imperialist invasion of Vietnam based on a different set of lies many years ago.

In both cases the nations we were forced to attack were in the final stages of preparations for invading and enslaving the entire US mainland. The Iraqi’s were just about to launch their 3 man Navy in a speedboat left over from the Iran/Iraq war, and, after stopping to refuel 18 times while crossing the Atlantic Ocean, they would have arrived at New York City 2 months later and finished off the destruction of Manhattan that had been started in 2001 by Osama Bin Hussein.

Vietnam, many years earlier, had been in the process of outfitting a fleet of 12 wooden fishing boats with which they intended to sail into San Francisco Bay and immediately create a network of Pho restaurants from which they could dispense poison-laden rice noodle soup to the hippies in the Bay Area, thereby destroying US morale and forcing an immediate and unconditional surrender.

If we had not attacked Osama Bin Hussein in Baghdad we would have had to do ship to ship combat in the New York harbor area, putting the Statue of Liberty at risk for a friendly fire accidental incident. This could reduce tourism dollars.

Of course there are a few slight differences. In Vietnam we appointed a puppet government and then used the puppet government to request US “assistance”, in the form of us going there and killing hundreds of thousands of the people that lived there for trying to select their own form of government without US approval.

In the case of Iraq, we went there first, killed a bunch of people, and then installed a government that immediately announced a powerful urge to have some random group of foreigners come in and start killing the local people. It is clear that the Vietraq war is a much greater success than Vietnam was, since in Iraq we were already there killing people before the puppet government asked us to kill people – making our Mission Accomplished an instantaneous result. As soon as our troops rolled in to Baghdad we had already won the Iraq war.

In Vietnam we did not win until the last helicopter left the US fortress, er, embassy in a hail of gunfire from confused locals who delusionally thought they wanted a local government not run by the benevolent, mass-murdering USA.

We continue to be amazed at the brilliant tactical analysis produced on a daily basis by Our Glorious Christian Leader and his highly competent staff of reality deniers and oil exploration equipment salesmen. Our Glorious Christian Leader, like Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon before him, has the wisdom to realize that it is primarily the people in non-Caucasian nations that are most interested in having American troops invade their countries and kill their citizens.

US Military Now Discussed in Business Section

In an extreme perversion of the meaning of Memorial Day, the New York Times reported in their Memorial Day edition that the US military is trying to reduce press coverage of those killed in our immoral imperialist invasion based on a pack of lies. The article, which discusses marketing and brand name issues, appears in the Media and Advertising sub-section of the Business pages in the New York Times.

America, you are now totally and completely fucked. Even now there are marketing studies and brand name research being done to support the selling of our next war of naked imperialist aggression. Marketing executives who wear three piece suits and drive BMWs are trying to decide which types of propaganda and lies will work best.

As long as our media continue to sugar coat the casualties of war, and as long as they conspire with oil baron administrations to sell new wars to a naive public that would rather watch American Idol than consider the impact of dropping bombs on cities far way, this country will continue its downward spiral into fascism.

It is good to pay homage to those who are brave enough and unselfish enough to put their lives on the line for what they believe, they are indeed heroes and worthy of our respect and gratitude. But the death of a soldier is incidental to their function, it is an undesired and undesirable side effect. The function of military personnel is to kill foreigners on behalf of the God/State. We need to keep that in mind.

It is this killing that contributes to most of the deaths in a war. It is not pretty, and anyone that tries to sell you a new war should be sent to Guantanamo for a very long vacation. People that try to sugar coat war for a living are doing a great disservice to their nation and their planet. Advocating war or glorifying the acts of war should be treated in the same way as other forms of criminal and sociopathic behavior. Accurate reporting of the effects of war are a pre-requisite for achieving peace, but the US Military is in the business of war, nothing threatens that industry more than peace or rumors of peace.

It is no wonder that the US Military Industry is anxious to continue treating our imperialist wars as if they were some sort of a Disney film. It’s good for business.
