New York State Governor David PatersonNew York Governor David Paterson is unveiling a proposed new law that would grant equal marriage rights to all residents of New York State regardless of their gender or sexual orientation. After all, Equal equals Equal.

The Catholic Church, also known as the Altar Boy Rape Corporation, is already banging their drums and posing as morally superior child molesters. And of course they pretend that their Imaginary Bearded Sky Daddy does not approve of homoluv. As if any sane person in touch with objective reality would give a shit what these power hungry ultra-greedy authoritarian cretins from the 13th century have to say.

Perhaps if they stopped using ridiculous ancient fairy tales to justify medieval sexist, misogynistic and homophobic authoritarian world views people would not feel the need to strike back with well deserved ridicule and biting sarcasm.

It will be very interesting to see the way in which Governor Paterson's renewed efforts to promote equal justice under the law proceed. It is clear that the Governor is seeking to promote justice, so we can be certain that the Party of Jesus will be strongly opposed.
